Two Stations with a Blaster and Jet-Port
We frequently receive calls asking for help in setting up our StoneVac II and Vanguard 2X series dust collectors to handle two work stations. The set-up depicted below utilizes a Jet Port with Comfort Zone and the Sandstorm2 micro sandblaster with the hoses and adapters to hook up the work stations. In addition, we are utilizing two VMC-A380 shut-off valves which give the technicians the ability to isolate one station which increases the suction and flow. The StoneVac II was chosen for this application because it has been designed to collect any type of dust including abrasive.
Three Stations with a Blaster, a Downdraft, and a Splash Hood
A common request for a dental professional’s office is a miniature lab or work cell outside the normal patient areas. This is a replica of an actual dentist’s lab within an office that Vaniman was consulted for design and build. Vaniman has assisted in designing many similar installations and can bring our expertise to design a system to meet your needs. A StoneVac II would normally be the recommendation for use with a SandStorm 2 with additional dust work stations. However, in this particular example, the doctor had already purchased a Vanguard Gold 2X. To accommodate the three stations the dentist wanted the dust collector to service within limited space, a grinding station, polishing station, and a micro abrasive sand blaster station. An added Accumulator and the appropriate plumbing completed the build out. With Vaniman’s expertise with such requirements, the resulting lab set-up was a success.
Two Stations with a Downdraft and Duel Lathe
This convenient set up is popular among dentists because each station typically has a predetermined purpose; This may be a station for grinding, or for polishing, etc. Each station is equipped with a manual shut-off valve or selector valve to control the suction appropriately.
